Golden Slipper Center for Seniors
Mission Statement
The Center's mission is to help seniors to live independently for as long as possible by providing a place to meet new people, access needed services through the Center's social workers, learn new things and enjoy a wide variety of activities.

It feels like home here. I don't have much family of my own and I feel we're all one big family at Golden Slipper.

Fees & Trial Membership
With an active membership of 350 seniors, we draw members from the counties of Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware. However, most of our members come from the neighborhoods that stretch along City Avenue, including: Wynnefield Heights, Balwynne Park, Overbrook Park, Havertown, Wynnewood, Bala Cynwyd, Lower Merion and other Main Line communities.
Activities
We offer a wide range of activities and services such as lectures, musical entertainment, computer classes, yoga, exercise, ballroom dancing and much, much more.
Lunch Menu
In addition to the delicious hot kosher lunch we serve daily, an alternative box lunch is available as a lighter choice. Our food is prepared in the kitchens of Betty the Caterer and delivered and kept warm at the Center until it is served at lunchtime.
